Video 8 Media has two telecine suites, both comprising Rank Cintel telecines fitted with Digital Vision Noise Reduction (DVNR) systems, Pandora Pogle colour correction systems and Aaton Keylink for key code and timecode transfer. Telecine One has additional modifications including a DGS Quattroscan framestore and Metaspeed, allowing transfers at any frame rate from 1fps to 60 fps.

Given that the Rank Cintels do not require pin registration but instead gently pull the film across the scanning tube in a smooth, continuous fashion, they are ideal for dealing with often fragile or shrunken archival film material.

Our telecines have a variety of gates that can handle 8mm, 16mm and 35mm formats as negative or positive with magnetic stripe, optical or double-head audio. We can transfer your film to any of our video formats, file formats or to DVD or BluRay.
